About K.C. Fuzzy
My name is Katie Covington, and I have been drawing and painting fuzzy little animals for as long as I can remember. I find something inspiring in the curious eyes of an animal, each looking so different but sharing that same free spirit. I try to capture the youthful innocence of animals, without stripping away the beautiful colors, shapes, and patterns that nature picked out for them. Basically, I draw real animals...only fuzzier.
I come from a big family, filled with fun adults and adorable kids. I love to shop for my tiny little loved ones, but it can be difficult to come up with a baby gift that isn't pink or blue. Or how about a snapsuit that features a realistic, exotic animal, instead of the typical baby animal cartoons?
The K.C. Fuzzy line is designed with this in mind. The color palette, based in soft natural hues and the purest whites, will appeal to boys, girls, and parents alike. Each little item features one of my hand-drawn illustrations, depicting a fuzzy animal not commonly found in baby products. And, since I feel that quality is key, only premium-quality materials and the best printing methods are used.
I formed this company in the hopes that my fuzzy artwork will delight your inner animal-lover, teach little ones to recognize and appreciate wildlife, and most of all, help put a smile on your baby's face.
